I would like to recommend Happy Landing as one of the best Canadian resorts I’ve been to.I know they are a sponsor of ours but I would not recommend them if I didn’t feel they do a great job.I been to HPL twice and Matt and his staff do a great job in making you comfortable, putting you on fish and feeding you excellent meals daily. Happy Landing Lodge is located on Pipestone Lake.To get the lodge you can fly in or Matt can pick you up on Clearwater Lake. The boat ride through Clearwater, over a mechanical lift and into Pipestone is a very fun experience. What’s great about Happy Landing is you get the remote fly-in experience only about 50 minutes by car from the border.Pipestone offers world-class muskie fishing opportunities on a lake that has been a well-guarded secret of many well known muskie anglers.On our last trip we had a 40-pound class fish up twice that still haunts me to this day. On the surrounding lakes Happy Landing offers great walleye angling for both numbers and size, excellent smallmouth bass fishing, trophy pike and lake trout and they even have largemouth bass lake.Please consider them for your next Canadian adventure.
