Wisconsin muskie angling closes the last day of November.  Minnesota is going to the same thing this coming season?  With ice on lately being well into December, this means no muskie angling on open waters when excellent opportunities still exist? I have many December muskies to my credit.  You can still fish for walleyes, bass, pan fish and pike but not muskies? How is this a good law?  Can anyone explain the reason for this law? Please chime in with any thoughts on this good or bad.

muskies

Not sure if they are closing muskie on Dec 1. What would be the purpose? I too have caught muskies in December...as late as Dec 14 in the metro if I remember correctly. Anyone know this answer?
