This video shot 9/02/06 features Chris Munchow working his favorite Viper topwater/jerkabait lure when a nice muskie is seen following the lure. Watch as the muskie swings back and forth behind the lure almost seemingly hypnotized by the action. When a fish follows in this manner they will often take a shot at the lure by just grabbing the rear part of the bait. If they don’t eat before it gets to the boat it is very difficult to figure-8 these followers as the lure will proably lose its rhythm. Filming Location Twin Cites Metro Area

It's a older Chartruse black dot Viper with very little paint left on it. The poor lure should be retired but it still produces! Chris Muhnchow |
